i was so pleased to receive your email..
and at the same time.. i'm relieved..
i had worried about you for the last couple of weeks..
actually.. i was about to buy an international phone call card
and call you to check out whether you are doing all right..
i'd never lost my interest in writing you..
i found that the reason why i didn't write you often.. was that i
wanted to
tell you everything that happened around me..
whenever i write you.. my brain is packed with so many ideas...
such as.. the views that attracted me and made me think of you..
the things that i believe you would like..
that sort of things...
so.. here's my new year's resolution...
i will keep a list that i want to tell you..
and then.. when i write you an email.. i will refer to it..
hehe...

anyway.. it's really nice to talk to you again..
since the end of last month.. i've been staying in sunchon..
i'm planning to stay here until the lunar new year's day..
we usually.. visit our relatives' house and have breakfast or lunch
together..
on the morning of new year's day.. we bow to our parents and other
elderly
people
hoping their health and long lives..
after that.. we have breakfast and the menu for it.. is a certain kind
of
soup..
(in that soup.. we put rice cake.. um.. hard to explain the recipe..
by the
way)
so.. in korean.. instead of saying becoming a year older.. we sometimes
say
'eating TOK-KUK which is the name of the soup...
i'm really looking forward to seeing the picture..
it must be wonderful.. i believe..
