how's everything around you?
now.. i'm seoul..
last week.. i had graduation.. and from next week..
the new semester in graduate school starts..
um.. i'm a little tensed..
i am always afraid of doing something new..
it is not good.. i know.. but i'm that kind of person..
hard to change my personality..
i got your photos.. last week..
(actually.. i tried to write you right after i got them..
but the mouse of my computer was out of order..
i'm using new one now...)
above all..
everything in your drawing was described realistically..
i liked the woman's facial expression and the violin..
her face tells what she's feeling and thinking vividly..
and the violin reminds me of the movie 'Platoon'..
have you seen it?
the movie is about vietnam war..
and the music used in that movie delivered the message of the movie
effectively
to the audience.. i guess..
as far as i know.. it is 'Barber's Adagio'..
the sad melody from the violin.. goes well with the miserable scenes of
the
movie..
by the way.. i appreciate your explanation about 'eMOTIONs'
i think you are sensitive to even the little change in the world around
us..
and that made you an artist.. i believe.. ^_^

it says.. it is year of the ram..
but i think 'Year of the Sheep' is more correct..
when it comes to twelve animals.. which represent each year..
we think of the animal of white (sometimes gray.. because of the dirt~)

how was your national beaver day??
i wanted to celebrate it..
but you know.. nobody.. celebrates it in korea.. (as well as in
canada..
right?)
what i did..... was.....
buying a hamster~ ^O^
i know.. they are different..
but in some ways.. they are similiar..
they build their own house using dirts and peels of trees...
and when they eat something.. they nibble..
he is living with me.. now.. and my friend~~
i want to introduce him some time.. sending you his picture.. hehe..
i bought him.. because i felt lonely.. living all by myself..
in korea.. last whole week was the time of sorrow....
over 150 people died in Deagu..
(do you remember the city.. where the football match between korea and
usa
was
held during last world cup..?)
somebody who has a mental disease set a fire to the subway..
and the subway station and two trains were totally burned..
it happened around 8am
many of the commuters died on their way to work or school..
whenever tv news showed their family are crying.. i wept too..
bless them.. all..
i could know how i am lucky.. and blessed..
and thanked to heaven that i can live with my loveable family and
friends..
hope that kind of accident never happens again..
