hi.. richard!!
it's good to hear from you again...
i guess you might have set up the computer at your place..
so glad.. because i can see your message often..
it's been warm here in korea this week..
couple of days ago.. i was walking down the street.. and suddenly i
realized
that it's all green around me.. i thought that it is literally spring...
i haven't got your photos.. but i expect that i would get it in several
days..
i'm looking forward to seeing them so much..!!!!
and the photo of Amber as well.. how is she doing?
i forgot to visit her web site.. but i will sooner or later..
if i get the photos.. i'll let you know how i thought..
and for the article.. i could tell what it would be about roughly
traditionally.. and officially.. in korea.. only man can be the head of
the
family..
but there has been the movement which is about giving a right to women
to be
the head of the family.. so children can take mom's last name as their
family name..
in a confucianistic society like korea.. it's quite radical.. but the
law is
about to be proven..
by the way.. i like to see the splattered watercolors on the article..
seeing them... i could imagine you working hard on your painting..
and about the apologies from japanese prime minister..
korean people were not so happy about it..
because on the same day when the prime minister made an apology about
what
they did during the second world.. the member of the parliament
attended
the shrine in japan...
people in japan... admire the soldiers who died from the war and think
that
they become gods who protect their country after death.. so japanese
people
visit the shrine to remember and worship them.. i heard from the news
report
that people from the countries which were colonized by japan criticized
the
hypocritical behaviour of japanese government.. although the prime
minister
made an apology officially.. and it is quite the same in korea...
are you planning to watch the movie 'old boy'?
i saw the movie.. actually.. i didn't like the movie that much..
it was a huge success in korea.. and many people were enthusiastic
about the
movie..
but for me.. the movie was uncomfortable.. because of some violent
scenes..
like you.. i always miss the time that i spent with you..
and whenever i saw the photos that we took.. i think of you and kate..
although i cannot contact with her now.. (i wrote emails couple of
times..
but she didn't write me back.. maybe.. her email address is not
available
any more..) i believe that we can meet each other.. somewhere sometime
that
we've never imagined..
and i'm also sure you and i will meet soon.. because i think we are
connected with each other.. in the name of DESTINY!!
miss you all the time..
bye...
