Myle back at work with shorter hair, in a
somewhat sombre mood. Showed her & Bianca
the 'Blue Diamond' print. Myle spotted Minori
right away. Talked to Iram for the first time
in a number of weeks. Said she was about to
start a project, but was vague as usual about
what exactly the subject is, saying starting
it would be a spontaneous sort of thing
13th (Tuesday) [Girl from the City of Tokyo]
Overcast, nicely cool. Myle much more herself today
Told me she puts salt on every fruit except bananas,
which she eats frozen. Wondered how many 'sticks' I
could make with $40 worth of pot. Bianca saying how
much she liked the cheesecake. Haircut by the
Vietnamese girl, with blue fingernails today. Telling
me how much she likes Korean movies & music
14th (Wednesday) [Girl from the Japanese]

Changed the title of the drawing. Myle feeling
better after talking to management. Bought her
an avocado smoothie from Joyeaux early this
evening. Whispered to me that she had a secret
Which turned out to be she had a couple of Botox
injections, one on her brow just above her nose
the other just below her bottom lip. Called
tonight just before 9

Eve e-mailed some photos of dolls, & pirate gear
Overcast, cool, with some light showers of rain
16th (Friday) [Girl from the Japanese

A large bag of plums from Myle from the tree in
her yard. Then she hit the phones, determined to
make up the $$ the counter lost when she was gone
Gave Chisato an 8X10 copy of the collage from
Galiano. Chance I won't be seeing her again
17th (Saturday) [Girl from the Japanese
Island of Honshu]
Long talk with Reanne about artistic matters &
how much we liked the old architecture, theatres,
neon, etc. Described to me her next project, a
multi-medium image of a horse, & I outlined to her
my book idea, 'Showers of Midnight Stardust'
Discussing an idea for working on a common theme,
which would be the old style theatres. Myle called
just before six, all giddy about going to pick up
her latest handbag, & $700 wallet to go with it

18th (Sunday) [Girl from the Japanese
Island of Honshu]
Showed Reanne four drawings from 'Stardust'. She
seemed to love the whole concept, & had a real
appreciation & understanding of the art. Especially
liked the Pantages Theatre. Told her she'd get the
first limited edtion copy, plus editing credit
19th (Monday) [Girl from the Japanese
Island of Honshu]
Marcus dropped by this afternoon, saying he liked
the 'Rubic's Cube background' of the drawing. Myle
called after six saying she'd reached her goal,
but Bianca's sales were zero. Is already bored
with her latest purse. 'I think there's something
wrong with me,' she said

Girl at Lancome showing me the $15 python handbag
Nice personality, but rather heavy. Went with Myle
to Hotel Vancouver, as she tried out various
handbags in the mirror. Lovely sunny afternoon

Photographed the drawing & made the webpage for
it, plus changes to a couple of other pages
Mostly cloudy, with an occasional drizzle of
rain, & sunshine, & unusually humid & 'clammy' as
Marg put it. Strange for autumn
24th (Saturday)
Describing the Joe Fortes drawing to Reanne. Was
delighted when I told her Joe Fortes was from
Trinidad
