website. I'm thinking I'd like to do a portrait
of her profile. Saw 'Sadko', a 1953 Russian
fantasy, with Vesna at Cinematheque. Drinking
green tea, & fixing the grammar on her
resume. COLD rainy evening
17th (Monday) [Ocean Cement, Marpole]
Showed a portrait & a still life to Baeta
Hinted that I'd like to do a portrait of her,
next month. 'I'm going to Korea next month,'
she told me. 'The Blue Kite' at VIFC, with
Heather tonight, & then tea outside in the
bitter cold at Blenz, Nelson. Granville St
rocking on St. Patricks night
18th (Tuesday) [Ocean Cement, Marpole]
Myle telling me that she finished off
another bucket of ice cream last night, &
that she likes my printing (?) Brought her
soup form Oji's on Robson. Talking to Vesna
on the phone, explaining that 'Sadko' was
political satire. 'A children's story,' she
laughed
19th (Wednesday) [Ocean Cement, Marpole]
'Live at Pompeii', 'Sacred Ground', & then
down the Rabbit Hole
20th (Thursday) [Ocean Cement, Marpole]
Myle thinking I looked tired. She was right
Vesna phones this evening, wanting to go for a
walk along the water. So we did. Explaining to
her that the 'Neptune' god in 'Sadko'
represented the Czar. 'Ha!Ha! Children's story,'
she replied. 'Why did you take me to that?'
21st (Friday) [Ocean Cement, Marpole]
Trying to help Myle dream up a good story to
tell management, as a reason for going to
Hong Kong in May, for 18 days. Watching
'Blade Runner' late tonight with Vesna, who
was impressed with 'White Rabbit'
22nd (Saturday)
...Vesna called about five to say Happy
Easter
23rd (Sunday)
Easter in Abbotsford. Talked to Vesna late
this evening for more than an hour
