figured out a way to create the
illusion of a rabbit's hole on
the glass spheres she uses for
her plants. Began research for

...Dropped in on Eve, who told me
they were moving to an apt on Haro,
near Cardero, after the landlord
complained they were walking too
loudly on the wooden floor. Said
her resolution was to do 'at least
2 drawings'. 'A month?' I asked
'No, a year.' Showed up at 7-
Eleven as Aarathi was finishing
her break. 'Glad you came by
tonight,' she said. 'It's my
birthday.'

Thought the girl in the 'rhino
drawing' would be more likely to
carry a torch than a lantern, &
was intrigued when I made the
comparison between this idea &
the idea from 4 years ago,
'Reanne's Olympic Moment', the
symbolism of a torch through
the snow, & Gretzky holding the
torch in the rain

Reanne's birthday on Saturday, who

Talking to Myle for 2 hours on the
phone this afternoon. Heavy rain

Visited Eve this morning, who
told me she's not supposed to
wash her hair on the Chinese
New Year. Something about
washing away the 'positive'
spirits. Sounded happy about
getting time off, & made
plans to go with her to
Templetons on Granville early
next week. Finishing off work
