A portrait of Lisa Lambourne

The four portraits I did of Lisa
look like portraits of four different girls.
During the time I knew her it seemed her
hair changed colour, style, and length on
a monthly basis - from blonde, to black, to
shaved head with bangs and no eyebrows,
to bleached brushcut, to burgundy
porcupine quills. I never did a portrait
of her during that last phase,
but we did do some classic photos back
then in the staircases and bathrooms of the
old Victoria Block on Pender. She was very
cool, Lisa. I hope she's doing okay back in
Niagara Falls.
