17th (Tuesday)
Met Lani on Burnaby St. just as the sun was starting to come
out. We both agreed the recent muggy weather totally sucked, &
that it would be nice to spend the summer in Prince Rupert, or
New Zealand
18th (Wednesday) [Portrait of Reanne]

20th (Friday) [Portrait of Reanne]
Sunny, with a chilly wind
21st (Saturday) [Portrait of Reanne]
A man playing bagpipes, while standing on stilts, in
front of the CPR Depot, attracting quite a lot of
attention. Texts from Fran this evening, 'Hi Richard :)
The pictures are absolutely gorgeous!! Truly amazing &
I can't wait to work with you again!!' 'Thank you so
much for sending them to me!!'

24th (Tuesday) [Portrait of Reanne]
Texted Reanne from Subway, Davie. She texted back,
[12?] [Tomorrow works great!] [Lol! We are the North]
Couple of hours later got a text from Fran,
ironically the exact same date I messed up things
with her last year : 'I would love you to do a portrait
of my profile pic. That would be amazing!! Hope you
have a great week too, I'll get off this island soon,
as soon as my boss oks it I'll be home.'
25th (Wednesday)
Tea with Reanne at Revolver on Cambie. Was totally excited
to hear the news about Fran. Went to Tinseltown where she
bought a package of paper, & then caught the bus here to
show her the portrait. Was pleasantly surprised how much
she loved it!! Took a pic with her cellphone to send to her
mother in Toronto. Caught the bus to Granville Island, and
checked out a small shop there where they sold crystals;
showed her Paper Ya, and then had fishburgers sitting
upstairs at the Market, where I hadn't been for a few years,
I think. Nice sunshine & all the old tables and chairs were
there. From there to Opus, where I bought the paper for the
portrait of Fran. Lovely afternoon
