Some enjoyable banter with Silvia at Shoppers this

Vancouver to Seattle, saying the later felt
distinctly 'American'. Texted Reanne, 'It's reefer

May
3rd (Wednesday)
Showing Reanne the portrait at Prados's, across
the street from the old Woodward's, at Hastings &
Abbott. A lovely silver rain was falling, & I was
surprised how much she loved the portrait! And the
girl at the table beside us too, who was from
Jamaica. Walking with her along Abbott, up the
elevator along Georgia Viaduct, to the entrance to
her lobby. Telling me how loud it was at BC Place,
from U2 preparing for their next tour. I suggested
she keep the portrait for awhile, & she texted later
saying she had sent a picture of it to her Mom in
Toronto
