Texted back, 'Thank you Uncle Rich', with a pic
of the twins sitting on the lap of two girls,
one which looks like Bianca. Ordered a new roll of
WC paper, & prepared to start the portrait, & the
collage, tomorrow. Frigid this morning, ice
everywhere

Texted Myle, 'Love the pic! Still think little
Samantha looks like u. And the girl holding
Vanessa looks like Bianca. If it is her please
say hello! [It's Bianca & little Maggie] 'Say

Text from Reanne, [Sorry I didn't text u back
earlier, I was in a 3 day workshop with an Indian
shaman to strengthen intuition and my natural
abilities. I wasn't using my phone bc of the
electromagnetic frequencies] [Happy earth dog

22nd (Thursday) [Frangelica Untitled]
Charming girl at the grocery on Davie. From
Ethiopia, she reminded me of Anna the Javanese,
of Gaugin fame. Said she had lived in Sweden, but
was forgetting a lot of the words. Talking with
Radka in the office, who was wearing a jacket &
heavy scarf, & eating an apple. At Shoppers,
asking Silvia what her impression was of last
summers eclipse. She laughed, & said, 'What
eclipse?'
23rd (Friday) [Frangelica Untitled]
Exchanging some lovely text messages with Fran,
who is excited about the 'untitled' portrait, &
called the cover photograph for the book
'hauntingly beautiful'. And I love her. Texted
Reanne about last summer's eclipse, & asked her
about Maggie. [I do remember her. A very giggly
little girl. Very cute!] Steady snow all day,
leaving about 4cm on the ground. Webpage work

another portrait of Fran' [Nice. What's the context
of the drawing?]

Text from Reanne, [We still on for tea?] [Meet me at
my place for tea 111 West Georgia Unit
3201 press 32 in the elevator buzz me
at 5261 I can't leave the house as I'm trying
to fit in a few appointments today. And don't want
to travel with all my crystals lol so we can
relax and have tea at my place until about 12:15]
Radka came up to see the latest two portraits of Fran
Texted Fran in the afternoon, 'Fran hi, finished your
portrait this morning. Think soft focus Warhol meets
Mark Rothko. Like some of his paintings, you project
a lovely cool grandeur in this one. Send it to you tom

Texted Fran this morning, [Fran, I totally love doing
these portrait versions of your selfies! Until we can
get together for a photo session, if u have any others
u would like to send... The extra soft pastel on cold
press paper is a little different from your other
portraits, but I hope u like it.' She texted back right
away, [Omg how utterly fabulous!! She looks divine
