Hi Fran, so last night I
was checking out some
shots I took of you four
years ago. The time
you were wearing the
red 'minnie mouse'
ribbon in your hair.
Wow! I had forgotten
how fabulous those
pictures were! There's
at least 4 or 5 portraits
there. I'm not sure how
you felt about that
session, but I would
love to start one of the
portraits this weekend
if it's ok

I'll photograph it today
& send it to u
tomorrow. Actually it's
not a portrait, it's a still
life. And I promise
the new portrait will
totally rock!

So I came across these
shoes tossed aside in
the alley & it crossed
my mind, 'These flip
flops could make a
a modest little
midsummer still life'
The background is my
kitchen floor if you're
wondering The other
one I did eight or so
years ago. Same thing.
Tossed away shoe,
tossed away roses i
found in the parking
garage
If the boa portrait was
elegant & imperious in
its bearing, the next
one has an engaging,
seductive quality
Wow! Not sure what
strain of weed I was
smoking last night, but
a great idea for the
background came to me.
Should be finished by
next long weekend.
Hope u have a lovely

your portraits are
intriguing, but this one
has an enigmatic
quality I'm thinking will
get some interesting
interpretations. Would
love to know what you
see in this one. Not
totally happy with the

Having a terrible
summer healthwise,
but hoping things get
back to normal this fall

session alone! Was
thinking of trying an oil
pastel, which I haven't
done for at least 15
years
Will have to ask u
sometime which
portrait is your
favourite. Would still
love you to have one of

always be my
favourite I'm happy
with the prints though
just in case you get a
purchaser]
There's really no one
I'd rather show my art
to than you & I'll make
sure you have a print of
every drawing I've
done. And I truly
want to do another
portrait you love as
much as the empress

Badb Catha back when
we used to meet at
Subway and I was
always intrigued to do
that portrait of you I
would love to develop
that concept with you &
I totally believe we can
create something epic.
