Visited Vivian this morning at her new
apt on 10th Ave. Went to Granville
Island & Opus. Took the small ferry
across. Showed her 'Wedding Portrait'
Said the bride 'looks mean'. (Where
have I heard that before?) & that if
she had to look at her everyday it
would give her 'the creeps'. Eating
incredibly tasty cinnamon buns
Walking down Burrard under the same
umbrella. Great visit

Photo session this afternoon in cold,
raw air, cold raw sunlight. Great
talk with 'Expressionist' girl. Told
me about her recent adventures
looking for an apt. Interupted by
some guy with a long story about how
skunks in the basement were keeping
him awake at night. When he came to
the counter he said, 'Are you angry
with me?' she replied with a long,
nervous laugh, & said, 'Are you
paranoid?'

Andrea describing her part as an
extra in a movie shoot at Kits High
School on Sunday. Told me she was a
'skater' & about a group designated
as 'microgeeks'. Worried about her
trip to Ottawa & that her & her
friends might have 'drifted apart'

Lunch with Andrea. Telling me about
her trip to Ottawa, which was mostly
'drinking & playing pool'

Walking down Davie, overcast, a very
heavy atmosphere. Saw Hannah across
the street. Waved & she waved back

Dropped in on Shelagh tonight. Never
heard of Gaugin. Asked if he was Irish?
Lunch with Andrea. Showed me her cheque
for her movie work. Was 1 penny short
of what it should have been. At Robson
Market Nancy says in a loud voice,
'Richard! You're eating!' Young Soon
replies, 'Yes, sometimes he eat.'

Asked Hannah which of the 2 pastels
she prefered. 'Well, this one very much
the truth.' Meaning 'Marlboro'. Pretty
much what Meghan & Jenn said

Photo session with Andrea. All but 4
shots taken on the roof of the parkade,
Granville & Cordova. Went to White Spot
right after. Andrea had blueberry, I
had chocolate, shake. While we were
there she filled out an application for
employment

Thunderstorm & heavy rain about three,
followed by a rainbow. Visited G at
Columbus the evening before she starts
packing

go down to Las Vegas to get married
Now he's asking for his CD &
sweater back. Shari's description

confusing & amusing at the same
time. Told me she's resigned to
being a 'creep magnet'
