Letters from Japan

Dear Richard.

How are you doing?
I'm very glad to receive your letter.
I had known that Vancouver had so much snow
the end of last year, before I heard from you.
Because my friend sent me a newspaper which told
about that. It showed Granvil St. with snows.
I couldn't understand that it was Granvil St., without
explanation on a picture. It was really amazing!!

By the way, recently I got two part time jobs.
One is a dental hygienist, the other is a waitress.
So, I'm working at dental office during night, and
at Japanese restaurant at day time. Very busy.
I'm a little bit tired...
After that, I mean from this coming spring,
I'll work at another dentist which I used to work for.
But there is a problem... If I get job at dentist,
I would never have to use English...

You know what, I went to Canada for not only sightseeing
but also studying English...
I want to speak English still now, too.
And then, recently I go to English conversation school
again. At that place I'm only able to speak English.
Teacher said, my English, especially pronunciation and
fluency are so good. But I'm still poor at
English vocabulary... So this year, I'd like to be
keen on vocabulary, and take TOEIC test which
makes sure my English level. Even I don't have to
use English in my usual life. I continue studying.
And some day I'll be Canada again.

I was so sorry that I couldn't show you "Toronto's pictures".
Toronto was very good city, also Niagara falls.
But I got so deep impression in the city of Toronto
more than Niagara falls. Many houses made of
bricks which had nice wine-red colour.
You should go there!
    You might like it.

Anyway, I'm good even jobs are hard!
And I'm looking forward to looking at your
drawing pictures. Please take pictures of them, and
send me!
In fact I showed your picture which I took in your
house to my friends. They like them much!

    Take Care!
Sincerely, Yuko
