Honestly that suitcase is so
well traveled I'm jealous of
the previous owner! I was
briefly in Paris in 1995, I
was there 2 hours tops, not
enough time to indulge at a
Cafe or visit a fashion
house. The suitcase is
looking marvelous Richard
and I feel so happy that
you used it in this shoot
Everything is coming
together in the most
splendid way as always
You've gone above and
beyond, you are the magic!!
This portrait has the best
vibe every. We need to put
our heads together and
figure out a way to get
this magnificent piece the
exposure it deserves. It's
cold and rainy on the
island this morning and
feels too cozy to go to
work but off I go. I can
feel winter creeping in

Fran, another TGIF! and yet
another week closer to
finishing off that job and
moving on to '26 :)!
Speaking of finishing off,
I'm thinking by Sunday night
there won't be much left to
do on the drawing. It's
incredible how magically
everything has come
together! I am so curious
hear how people react to
this one. Down the road, if
it's ever sold, we share
equally
But I'm getting ahead of
myself. There's still work
to do, and I have to focus
on getting it right. I'm
loving this rain (and
frost)!

more weeks of work to go after
today. It's been a very
physical work week and
yesterday I was climbing up
stacks of weed totes and
moving those heavy things. I
woke up in a lot of head and
neck pain. I'm hoping I get
an easy task at work today
I'm so excited to post the
final shot. You are most
generous and thoughtful!! The
suitcase looks absolutely
fabulous it looks so
real like I can reach out and
touch it. I'm struggling so
hard with my poetry but am
going to try and reshoot the
poetry video this weekend
I'm never happy with how it
turns out. I hate how I look
right now. I feel like a bit
of a mess! I'll do my best
again this weekend. The poem
is good but I'm not :( Here's

Fran, my happiest day of the
year will be your last day at
that job. After that it's
like, 'Let the healing begin!'
The new job will make a huge
difference in how you feel!
And I'm wishing you're
feeling well enough this
weekend to record your new
video. Next year I would
love to shoot a series of
videos of you reciting your
work. I have some ideas
I'll run past you next month
and I'll research different
programs available for
editing
So on the drawing front, it
looks like after this
weekend it's essentially
complete, and I'm guessing
Wednesday it should be
totally finished. I think
we've created a unique
piece of work together,
and I'm thinking next year
will be a year of fabulous
creation & promotion. For
now though, enjoying the
grey skies & rain (and a
little snow would be nice

I had a little sleep in
and am feeling a bit
better today Only 4
weeks of work left!
January 5th can't come
fast enough lol. The
portrait is just so totally
magnificent and have made
magic happen!! It's such a
magical, mysterious and
joyful piece. Definitely my
favourite along with the
Empress. I really cannot
wait to share it. It was a
damp blustery day on the
island yesterday and the
rain reminded me of the
all consuming Manchester
rain I'm so fond of. It's
the sort of rain that
reminds you that Mother
nature is completely in
charge and we are at her
mercy. I'm going to shoot
the poetry video today
and tomorrow and see
which one I prefer. I've
been feeling a silent
panic because I haven't
managed to get my poetry
out there for a couple of
months. Hopefully that
feeling will go away this
weekend and I'll be back
on track. I'm very excited
to hear about your ideas!
2026 is going to be the
most magical year ever! I

Fran, no need to panic, your
video will be fabulous and
unique, like you are! Along
with the large formats, in
2026 I want to create videos
of your work I know will
intrigue and fascinate
people! It's all about what
Rothko wrote, "Art is an
adventure..."
This whole year has been an
adventure for sure! So
today Quantum will be
essentially finished,
followed by 2 or 3 days of
touch up and finishing off
details. I've been so
focused on the work itself,
getting it right, I haven't
really had time to process
how much this drawing, and
you, means to me!!
Tomorrow morning will send
you the final progress pic,
and later in the week the
final shot of the completed
work

can't believe how beautifully
quantum has come together it
really is the most spectacular
piece and my new favourite!!

Fran, I had a weird low-energy
day yesterday. I thought I
might be coming down with the
flu or something. Good news is
I did finish a few details on
the drawing. Today I'm feeling
ok, and I expect to get a lot
done. I'm hoping to finish off
the drawing tomorrow, Thursday
at the very latest. And yes,
when the drawing is finished
I'll treat myself to...
chicken teriyaki!
