Fran, so it's past 4am,
pitch black & raining,
I'm sitting under a
blanket sipping tea, and
looking up at your
fabulous image:)! Viewing
art does not get any
better than this. You are
so totally magical!
It's only a couple of
weeks till you're free of
that place for good. I'm
thinking December to
remember will be
followed by a January to
remember. It doesn't
rhyme but who cares?

and the art & poetry

So this morning I'm
working on the Autumn
Portraits, and after
that a special image
that was inspired by a
phrase you've been
using. How you inspire

important element in
the whole concept of

Fran, it's just past 4am and
I'm relaxing in the chair,
sipping tea as usual, and
feeling so good about our
latest work of art. You are
so totally magical!!
So yesterday I put together
the 4th print of the Autumn
Portraits, and today I'll
add a fifth. And I want to
start work on the image for
"Sky(diving) in the
Universe", which you
inspired. Send them all to
you end of the week,
along with my take on the
cave 'graffiti'
Yesterday too, I looked
closely for the first time
at the shots for the
Salacia drawing. OMG! What
you wore and how you posed
were totally fabulous!!
What a follow-up to
Quantum this one is gonna
be!!

It's stormy and rainy on
the island this morning
The weather was just so
wild yesterday with bursts
of crazy wind and heavy
showers. Apparently today
it will be a little worse
so I've charged all of my
things in case of a power
out. At work they have
back up generators so we
can keep working if the
power goes out. I'm
hoping today will be a
gentle and kind day but
can't wait to get to the
weekend so I can chill

So when I look at this
image I see a group of
archers confronting a
herd of antelope. Who
could easily have run
away; but they had babies
with them and they
weren't about to leave
them behind. So the
battle was on. And I'm
guessing the archers
prevailed :(
But there was someone
who experienced this
scene, and it left a
deep emotional
impression, and an
overwhelming urge to
represent it visually,
in some sort of image
on a wall of rock. Which
is the essence of the
artist. No different
really than 10,000 years
later, I was moved on an
emotional level to do
your portrait
Anyway, that's how I see
it. Would love to hear
your impression
Btw, I'm like you, I
love the peace & quiet,
which is why I'm up at
1am these days
[Richard 2026 is going to
be a most creative year
I
just know it! I'm very
excited for Salacia of
Saturna! Please my I see
the self portraits when
they're done? The cave
paintings reminds me that
humans are small and
nature is bigger, sort of
puts everything into
perspective. We may have
weapons to kill but we
are very small compared
to the rest of nature
Also a reminder that
animals don't have
weapons, they use
themselves to prey and
defend whereas we need
weapons to prey, defend
and control which is
something we have always
don and still do to this
day. I feel for the
animals I really do. It
breaks my little heart
I especially like your
view of it. It's another
quiet morning in the
neighbourhood, I think it
finally stopped raining
lol. It's amazing how a
touch of rain can upset
people so greatly lol. I
love listening to the
silence. I hope it snows
on Xmas eve, the snow
makes everything so
quiet and peaceful
