hi.. richard~!
i'm glad you liked the sock!!
it's a traditional type..
people are not fond of tradition so much.. these days..
i like traditional stuff.. (but not always..)
if something is from a tradition of a certain culture.. i think we
should
respect it.. at least..
i hate people who judge something with their cultural perspective
only..
i hope that the world is full of diversity!!!
by the way..
i don't like math..
in my high school days.. i tried to like math so much..
actually.. i studied pretty hard.. because it was one of important
subjects
in the exam..
but.. eventually.. it turned out that i'm not talented in math..
so i haven't studied math after graduating high school...
but...
i can imagine how you felt when you found your own spot in the
library..
sometimes.. i sit on the floor between the aisles.. reading books..
the smell of the old books and the sunlight from the window are all
harmonious..
the new semester usually starts in the beginning of march in korea..
so we are still in vacation..
last week was holiday week..
we had new year's day last thursday.. (in lunar calendar)
it is one of biggest holidays for koreans..
i spent the holiday with my family..
actually.. i was planning to go back to seoul this week..
but my mom asked to stay couple more days..
so.. i will be here in sunchon next monday or tuesday..
i'm glad you finished another painting..
as i've been telling you.. i like your sarcasm..
your paintings are funny but serious at the same time..
they are so realistic but what they say is abstract..
i like the irony in your painting so much..
they always stimulate me intellectually..
was there some snow there in vancouver?
this winter... we have lots of snow..
and it's colder than other years..
take care.. not to take a cold..
and don't forget to put some extra clothes such as gloves and mufflers..
when you go out for a walk or when you go to take photos..!!
bye.. talk to you soon..
