The Anna Sui chairs Minori used to sit
on, for sale on the 5th floor for $200
Would be perfect for 'Empress'. Clear,

A lovely sky today above the islands

sailing through the sparkling water
far below. Hawks & ravens rising
slowly into a sky streaked with pastel
blues & greys, reflected in the water

a drawing project. Thought $200 was too
expensive for the Anna Sui chair. 'Think of

Met Reanne on the concourse of the Canada
Line. Encouraged her to find the seahorse
at the furniture store. Like Eve, she
thinks $200 dollars is too much for the
chairs. U.S. Open tennis final this

Talked briefly with Nguyet Dang this morning,
who looked pretty & was quite charming. Text

16th (Sunday)
Reanne starting drawings of 'Scorpion of the
Womb'. The idea she described was very
impressive. Had a good discussion with her
about the NHLPA & the NFL. Both of us
struggling to remember the name of the
Ravens MLB. It popped into my head on the
way home & I texted her. 'Yes!!!' she texted
back. Eve describing a Japanese book store
in Seattle she visited, with a unique
selection of art supplies
