Text from Eve early this morning : [The filling on
1 of my molars broke while I was flossing... I have
to go to the dentist to have it fixed. Tea with
Reanne at Tim Horton's, Pender. She contributed
brilliantly to the RainCity text, we had a lovely
discussion about art & the future, & she looked
amazing. One image sticks in my mind, which would
have made a lovely portrait. As a backdrop, the
busy traffic outside, the old Spencer Building, &
the Harbour Centre 'pie-in-the-sky'. Ride
through Stanley Park on a lovely autumn afternoon,
the sun burning warmly through a light mist

First talk with the new girl at Apple Deli, from
Taiwan. Seems to have a charming personality

Fairly long talk with the Taiwan girl, who seems
to have a real artistic sensibility. Was quite
interested in seeing some of the art work, &
whose personality seems quite gentle & understanding
