Text from Eve early this morning : 'The filling on 1 of my
molars broke while I was flossing... I have to go to the
dentist to have it fixed.' Tea with Reanne at Tim Horton's,
Dunsmuir. She contributed brilliantly to the RainCity text, we
had a lovely discussion about art & the future, & she looked
amazing. One image sticks in my mind, which would have made a
lovely portrait. As a backdrop, the busy traffic outside, the
old Spencer Building, & the Harbour Centre 'pie-in-the-sky'
Ride through Stanley Park on a lovely autumn afternoon, the
sun burning warmly through a light mist

Some nice banter with Silvia this morning, who I find totally
charming. Crisp, clear autumn afternoon

Texted Myle, 'The girls first Election Day! Guessing they're
supporting Trudeau.' She texted back, 'Voting for Conservative.'

Fairly long talk with the Taiwan girl, who seems to have a
real artistic sensibility. Was quite interested in seeing some
of the art work, & whose personality seems quite gentle &
understanding. Lovely, clear autumn afternoon in the West End
neighbourhood
