New Korean girl at deli is really
sweet. From '6th largest' city in
Korea. Sunny day, with a warm breeze

Gate Bridge was doing - 'What's the
Golden Gate Bridge?' Had never heard
of Alcatraz either

Watching 'Alice' on video tonight
Talked to Lani for the first time in
weeks. This morning girl on Howe,
with an unusual long blue skirt,
blowing in gusts of wind, dry &
overcast, putting coins into the
parking meter. A good image in itself,
it inspired an idea for a drawing,
'Obscene Love'

Met Dorothy, the bike courier, at
Howe near Nelson. Met Saskatoon
woman in the lobby. A long,
interesting talk. Showed her the
portraits (liked 'Janet' & 'Jenn')
Thought the girl in 'Our Precious
Science' looked 'anorexic' and
'spoiled, but not evil'. Sorting
out ideas for the next portrait
Another clear, hot day. This
morning at Harbour Centre food
fair, gave Vivian the two framed
photos of her cat. She brought me
a bag with cookies
