text messages [Richard : Fran]

Hi Fran, hope your
morning is sailing
along nicely. So last
week I started an
alternate version of a
portrait of you from
last year. It's over
twice as large as any
portrait I've done in
that format. First time
I've tried doing this,
but it seems to be
working out ok. Hope
to send it to u next
week sometime

[Hi Richard   it must be
huge   I cannot wait to
see it!!]

Hey Fran, it looks like
I'll finish your portrait
sometime this
afternoon. It sort of
combines the glam of a
Warhol silkscreen with
the cubism of Picasso
& Braque. And u look
totally   fabulous!

[Omg I'm so excited]

I'll photograph it tonite
& send it to u
tomorrow. Hope
you're having a great
day

[Perfect thank you
Richard, all is well,
hope all is well with
you]

Hi Fran, I loved working
on your portrait and I
hope you like it. I know
Man City & United have
fans all over the world
  but as far as I'm
concerned you're the
real jewel of Manchester

This pic should give u a
better idea of the size
of the drawing. It's
about 4'x 3'. Hope
you'll be able to see the
original before too long

Forgot to wish u happy
Year of the Earth Dog!

[Omg I absolutely adore
it, you captured me
perfectly!! I'm thrilled
Richard   thank you so
much for making me
larger than life   happy
year of the dog!]

Fran, you look fabulous
in every single portrait!
  If you're wondering,
you'd stand eleven feet
tall in this one. Without
heels! Hope you have
a beautiful weekend &
I'll text u some pics
from the book next
week

Finishing the portrait of Fran today & I can't
