dreadful! It took 3 days to get back to normal]
Sent Kiyeon a text, who replied, [Can I see you on
Thursday this week?? 11am at Burrard Station?] Texted
Eve about her new job. She texted back, [I'm not used
to it lol] [I'm up at 5am and in bed by 9pm every day]
[When I'm used to sleep at 5am] [Today is going to be
crazy hot too] [Thank god work has air conditioning lol]
24th (Thursday) [Empress : The Boa Portrait]
Tea with Reanne at Blenz first thing in the morning,
and then off to the library to photocopy an alphabet
A quick Pepsi at Royal Centre, & then Burrard Station
to meet Kiyeon at 11:30. Spent an enjoyable afternoon
walking through the West End to Second Beach, English
Bay, & then along Davie to Home Hardware to buy some
ant repellant for Kiyeon's kitchen
25th (Friday) [Empress : The Boa Portrait]
Text message at Subway this morning, [Hi Uncle Richard,
what r your plans today] Which led to spending the
afternoon with Myle & the girls, & got to see Maegan
for the first time when she wasn't sleeping. Another
nostalgic, Five Rd & all the way down Cambie to 3 Rd
Pointed out the old tree at Four Road & Cambie. 'I
knew that tree when I was two years old.'
26th (Saturday) [Empress : The Boa Portrait]
Text message from Eve, [I noticed this at work
yesterday] 'Interesting. This could be interpreted
different ways. Is this a fellow employee?' [The
photo is of Snoop Dog] [Who is notorious for smoking
a lot of weed] Continued with some enjoyable banter,
& that we would meet up for lunch [Yes on a weekend
when I'm free

Island & a shopping mall at Main & Kingsway, where
the girls had a great time at the toy store

Text from Fran early this morning, [Hi Richard,
just got back from Blighty! Throat is much better,
I cannot wait to see this portrait. How are you
doing?] Described the portrait to her & she
replied, [Thanks Richard! I'm heading off to the
Okanagan next, my health is much better. I
cannot wait to see the portrait. It sounds magical]

7th (Thursday)
Text from Fran early again, [Amazing!] Sent her
the portrait later in the morning. She replied,
[Omg I am in shock It's absolutely epic!!
You are amazing] [She looks so regal] [We need to do
another photo shoot! I'm in the Okanagan for 10 days
and then I'm planning on a Vancouver trip! But I will
also be back in Vic in 10 days and we could totally
go for a coffee and a chat!] 'That would be awesome!
