Hi Fran!

So I finished this watercolour last week nearly four
months after I stapled the paper onto the board. That's how
distracted I was editing the old analog slides this summer
Looking back at the infections, bad reactions to antibiotics,
lack of sleep, etc I'm amazed I
didn't have a breakdown, but it was worth the effort
Right now I'm putting together the pages for three
separate books as a supplement to
'Showers of Midnight Stardust'

Last April I wanted to do a watercolour of the
Second Narrows & old CNR railway bridge
as part of the collection I'm doing on bridges
When I went out there to take the photographs
a train
was blocking the tracks and I couldn't get a shot
from the right angle, so I ended up taking shots
around the estuary. Which was alright because
cold, rainy, industrial is right in my wheelhouse
Anyway, it turned out not too bad. I'm thinking of
subtitling it 'Fran and Richard in an Alternate
Reality', to give it a bit of a surrealist edge
What do you think?

Thought you might like to see some of the
'winter wonderland' shots I edited this weekend
Putting together a box set of prints from the
book[s] to send you later in the year

Hoping to start your new portrait this week
sometime. Think Edgar Degas meets
Hieronymus Bosch. The background will be
totally surrealist and I think very compelling

Looking forward to seeing the Pandemic Pearl
shots sometime this autumn! And I think that title
you came up with is fabulous!

[What a beautiful feast for the eyes!!! You capture such
delightful spendour & hearts; thank you for sharing your
incredible work with me, I am so blessed you are in my life!!!
The way you have worked with strength thru everything you've
gone, thru this year has been an absolute inspiration for me
and encouraged me to keep going. Thank you for being you.
How is your Dad doing? You've been in my thoughts
constantly. I love the title you came up with, it's brilliant!

and love!]
