[Richard!! i have never
seen a year like it. My
mum just got out of ER
after being in there
for a week. She has
something called giant
cell arteritis. I need a
pumpkin latte so bad.
How are you doing?]
So I'm doing ok. The
only issue, for the past
year or so, is I'm
drinking way too much
I need to get a handle
on this or I'm gonna
end up like David
Bowie. He died of liver
cancer, about the same
age I am now. Just
as he was about to
record a follow up
album to BlackStar :(
Odd thing is, I'm never
drunk, never hungover,
& i feel good when i get
up (at 3am)... go
figure
I'm praying for your
mom's good health
So I've spent the last 6
weeks adding journal
entries from over the
years to the website,
opposite drawing i
was working on at the
time Came across this
one from Mar 2014
"16th Sunday
Overcast, light rain off
& on. Glimpse of the
girl at the hookah
place. Thinking I'd like
to do a portrait of her
for sure." The 'hookah'
place being
Cottonmouth, & the
'girl' being you, of
course And 10 plus
years later all I want to
do is more portraits of
you
And you're right about
this year! I was just
telling a friend of mine
the other day:
Year of the Dragon is a
Bitch!!' But we're
gonna make it thru no
matter what!

This dragon year has
been a wild ride for
sure... but your eyes
are STIll beautiful thru
it all, and I still can't
wait to do another
portrait of you!!
So I bought some milk
thistle at Shoppers, and
I'll be taking it daily,
from now on, with
some other good stuff
My liver thanks you!

it's an amazing,
unique collection! It
can't be denied that we
create fabulous art
together. And we have
so many more ideas

Fran So I'm finishing
off 6 weeks of putting
journal entries on the
website, and i came
across this one
yesterday: "July 24
2014 Met Fran at
Subway at noon to give
her prints of the
portrait... described a
dream she had about a
priest that bit off the
head of a goldfish, &
the inside was 'like an
orange'..." Wow!
Totally surreal! And
for some reason I'm
thinking chocolate
goldfish candies, with
orange creme filling,
wrapped in gold foil
Speaking of candy &
Halloween, if ur doing
the costume thing this
year, promise that
you'll send me a pic!!
Hope ur feeling great

totally optimistic about
the weeks ahead :)

dressing up. Idk how
you survive on such
little sleep!!]
Fran you're right! My
first two hours of sleep
nothing wakes me up
fire alarms, neighbours
doors being broken
down, but the rest of
the time i just toss &
turn it's so boring!! :(
but when i get up i feel
fine :)
Sorry to hear you're
feeling fatigued :( but
it will get better hang in
there ok

need as much sleep as

way but i do miss that
