Fran, one more sleep and I'll be starting our
latest opus before dawn tomorrow. As much as I
love photography & editing shots on the
computer, I can't wait to get to work on art
again!! This is the first time I'll have worked
on a drawing almost totally in 'the dark',
every day from midnight till sunrise. And
speaking of photographs, I'll be mailing you
those prints, etc later this afternoon. I'm
counting on this latest phase of the moon to be
xtra special! My favourite four weeks of the
year, Oct heading into rainy November!! I'm
hoping and hoping and hoping some more you
find that special job that will give you peace
of mind, and plenty of $$ to go with it. Until
then sending you a steady flow of comfort and
fortitude! with a whole lotta love
Btw, just finished the Woody Allen memoir half
hour ago. He wrote, "I don't know what it is
with me and the rain. When I wake up in the
morning and open the blinds and it's raining
or gray or drizzly or at least overcast, I get
a good feeling. When it's sunny I feel
depressed." Sounds like a couple of people I
know!!
[One more sleep Richard yah!! This is
going to be the most magical adventure on
canvas. The most magical time is midnight to
sunrise, the good energy is at its finest on
either side of the witching hour. I'm so
excited to see the Saturna prints and relive
those magical moments!! I do hope this new
moon catapults me into a beautiful new job
with benefits
Woody gets it, he understands the cozy and
welcoming nature of the life giving rain and
cozy gray skies. I have a feeling today will
bring those things to us. Yesterday at lunch
time it poured and poured and it was just

Fran, I mailed you the Saturna prints, with
your belated birthday gift, yesterday
morning, and I'm guessing it should reach
you midweek. Looking them over, I still
can't believe what a perfect day we were
gifted!! So I'm sitting here pre-
dawn, sipping tea and sorting out in my
mind's eye the arrangement for Quantum. Your
pose, attitude, and wardrobe were absolute
perfection!! What a lovely dress that was!
Anyway, just a few hours from putting the
first lines down on paper. And I'm hoping
you've been putting some of your fabulous
words down on paper, and that this latest
autumn phase of the moon will be incredibly
creative for us!! Sending you pure vibes of
health & inspiration w/much love &
affection!!

Fran, the vibes you sent have yet again
worked their magic! The first day on Quantum
turned out fabulous! It was totally
invigorating having the outline shaping up
as well as well as it did! Hopefully today
will be as good as yesterday, and I'll send
you the first pic of the outline tomorrow
So I've made a slight change from the
original idea. The background had 4 elements
to it, and I've reduced it to 2; which I
think will be more balanced than before, and
visually & emotionally more powerful. And
I still can't believe how perfectly you
posed! You seem to have this incredible
style & instinct to portray exactly what's
needed!! Wishing a cool, wet,
comforting weekend for us both! Sending you
a continuing flow of October vibes, with a
WHOLE lotta love!!
[Richard I am soooo excited for this
masterpiece!! I had a blast posing for
Quantum and the area you shot it in felt
like an old school waiting room. I'm sorry
I left the suitcase on the sidewalk :(
with the salt in it. Next time I will make
sure I have everything accounted for
I leave. I really loved the cigarette
holder you bought, it added more elegance
to the outfit. Today I'm going to reach
out to publishers to try and get the poems
published. On Tuesday I have a job
interview for an office job and I really
hope I get it. Yesterday was
beautiful in Sooke, it was raining and
the trees were a vibrant red and gold

Fran I'm overjoyed to know you're
reaching out to have your writings
published! It's just a matter of time
before something great happens! I'm
thinking these autumn colours and this
cleansing rain is a good omen. And I
want so badly for you to get that office
job too! I know it'll make a huge
difference in how you feel on a daily
basis :) So the outline for
Quantum is coming along beautifully so
far without a hitch. This is the first
pic of many that I'm feel confident will
lead to a work of art that's visually

hours which has totally helped my
migraine. A week ago Friday I cleaned a
machine with lots of chemicals in a room
with no ventilation and got very sick
My hands and face keep swelling up and
I've had a bad migraine since last Friday
I keep sending prayers up to the
universe that I get that office job. I'm
too old to be cleaning machines I hope
you've been getting good sleeps and feel
totally rested. I am overjoyed to see
this outline, made my day! Sending

Fran I hope and pray you're
fully recovered from that ordeal they
put you through! :( I'm seriously
praying, to all the Gods in Heaven, that
you land the new job!! :) Maybe that
Entity that blessed us with perfect
weather on Saturna will return for an
encore. Hang in there! things WILL
improve! :) So yesterday was a good day
of work on the drawing. The outline is
now recognisable as someone we all know
and love - a woman with style &
defiance!! My latest idea for the
background has changed a little. I'm
putting the cosmological element back
in; but it will run across the middle
of the drawing rather than the top
This morning I'm starting the outline
of the quantum section at the top - a
lot of electrons spinning around! Send
u the progress pic tomorrow, with super
vibes of health, comfort, and
confidence, and a healthy dose of love
& affection!!

I'm with you there in spirit today
Fran! I just know you'll make a fabulous
impression; and if the interview goes as
well as the outline is coming along the
job will be yours! Either way though, I
know we'll remain defiant! So I
put the 3rd element back into the
drawing the other day, and yesterday I
reinstated part of the 4th element
Which is the arch of a railway tunnel
the very top of the drawing. The idea
that you're entering a tunnel/portal
into a mysterious, stimulating world is
important in a metaphorical sense to
the theme of the drawing. I spent
yesterday putting in guidelines to help
construct the orbit of the electrons,
which I'll put in today and send you a
progress pic tomorrow. Sending you
vibes of energy & confidence, w/love &
affection!!
PS miss you a ton!!

Fran, hoping, hoping, hoping the
interview went well and the job will
be yours!! Either way though, you're
the magical woman who just inspires the
hell out of me! The next couple of days,
on Quantum, I'll be blocking in the
lettering top & bottom, adding a few
decals to the suitcase, and the outline
will be finished. I can't recall a
drawing coming together so perfectly :)
So yesterday I outlined the orbits of
the electrons. It's incredibly
satisfying to be working on this
particular drawing, in our favourite
time of year. It's gonna be a November
to remember!! Sending vibes of pure
autumn joy (with potential rainbows)
and a whole lotta love!!!
[Richard they canceled on me because
one of them is sick. To be fair there
is a really nasty bug going around. I
was really sad about it yesterday but I
know they'll reschedule with me when
they can. Just really disappointed. The
outline looks wonderful I can't
believe how fast you work!! The
lettering is always my favourite part
of the outline I checked for the
package yesterday and am hoping it
arrives today I'm sure it will as I
have a good feeling about it!! I am so
utterly grateful to you for helping me
with my poetry :) I'm hoping putting
this poetry book together will bring
us some income. With your magical
illustrations and my words we are
unstoppable!!

Fran, I'm disappointed you didn't get
the chance to do that interview
yesterday :( But not to worry, next
month WILL be a 'November to
remember', and nothing's gonna stop
us! And every morning of that month
I get to sit here, 3am or so, and
look across at one of the perfect
poses ever in the history of Art!!
You amaze me on a daily basis! So
yesterday I outlined the top of the
tunnel that arches above the swirling
electrons. But the nucleus of that
atom won't be protons or neutrons,
but one of Mark Rothko's creations. I
wanted something a little more
abstract & mysterious; and I'm using
a quotation of his at the bottom of
the drawing. Anyway, this morning
I'll be drawing in the title across
the top, before I head out to get
some (hopefully) good October
photographs. Sending you pre-November
vibes of dark, glorious, stormy clouds
with plenty of rain of course, and a
WHOLE lotta love!!!
Btw, do u have anything planned for
Halloween? I've noticed it seems to
be the event that you're always at
your brilliant, creative best. I just
hope that migraine demon backs off
and allows you to do your thing!
