I love the outline soooo much, it's making me
so happy :) I just know you'll get the most

capture too. I've been feeling so rough
that I haven't planned anything for Halloween
I just wanna sit in the dark and eat candy
If I do get into the Halloween mood I can
always throw together an outfit but I'm not
sure I'm up to it. Maybe I'll be Persephone
for Halloween. Maybe a 1920s version of
Persephone in a flapper dress. The outline
looks absolutely stunning, I'm so excited to
see it unfold piece by piece, like unwrapping
the most fabulous gift. I'm sending you the

Happy Halloween, Fran!! Hoping this special
today finds you migraine-free with energy to
spare :) If Persephone makes an appearance
promise me you'll send a pic, and if not just
enjoy the treats and look forward to
the weekend and what promises to be a
mystical, special month of November! So
I put the title in yesterday at the top of
the drawing, and today I'm filling in the
text at the bottom, below the suitcase. After
that I just need to add a few extra decals to
the suitcase, put in the Rothko, and voila!
the outline should be finished by Sunday :)
For today at least, sending you chocolate &

[Happy Halloween Richard :)! I still have
a wretched migraine so I don't think
Persephone will make an appearance,
however, I would absolutely love to do a
Halloween photo shoot with you next year! I
adore the lettering on the canvas it's
absolutely perfection!! I am blown away by
how quickly you creat the outline, I don't
know how you do it and it's totally
magical. Thank you for sending me the
updates, it feels like I'm opening the most
wonderful gift bit by bit
Today I'm going to try and take it easier
at work, then I need to clean and details
the car as she has a recall appointment
tomorrow. Apparently there could be
something wrong with her engine
Hopefully she's fine and I can leave the
dealership with her after she's been

Fran, I'm guesssing you got as much
rain as we got here last nite :) A
fabulous way to end Oct! And Nov has
always been my favourite month to
work on art & photography. The light
& mood is conducive to creativity. And
this Nov has the potential to be the
best of all!! The pic I sent
looks like some kind of newspaper
puzzle or Egyptian hieroglyphic, but
it's the framework for the bottom
text, which reads: "Art is an unknown
world which can be explored only by
those willing to take the risks" - Mark
Rothko. So let's take his advice and
continue the adventure right into the
New Year. Sending you pure vibes of

[Richard it poured down for hours
yesterday. My favourite days are when
it looks dark all day and yesterday
was just like that! When I came out of
work for lunch it looked like it was
5pm :) I looked up Rothko, at first I
saw a bunch of blocked colours but
then I saw Entrance to Subway and was
immediately excited by it. I'm totally
here for this adventure!!! I am so
intrigued by the work you've created
under the suitcase, so very curious
I stayed inside and rested last night
Although I did put candy out for the
neighbourhod kids and they certainly
made a dent in it. This morning I'm
taking my car to get checked out at
the dealership and so hoping that she
can come home with me and doesn't
need any work doing. I wrote a small
piece about Venus that I am trying to
commit to memory so I can do a poetry
video I will send it to you. Sending

Fran, like you I love those days
stay dark all the way through, and I
get so pissed off when the sun
suddenly comes out - like yesterday!
So i checked out 'Entrance to
Subway', which I hadn't seen before
It's kind of ironical that Quantum,
which some will see to some degree
as an homage to Rothko, would
feature a sort of tunnel/portral
leading to some fantastical
destination, through the magic of art
And after all, the subway in NYC
could take you to the Guggenheim to
see Modigliani, and experience Frank
Lloyd Wright. Hard to beat that
combo!! And I'm totally
looking forward to your Venus poem &
video! I have this idea for a video
of you next time we meet. Hoping
your car passed its physical with
flying colours, and that you're feeling
better with every passing day! Sending

So I started reading the Woody Allen
memoir at 1am or so. And an hour later
I check the phone and it's back to 1am!
This changing the clock stuff is total
bullshit! The vast majority of people
hate it, but the BC government has to
copy whatever the Americans do. Is
Winnie in hibernation yet? Maybe we
could send him down to the Legislature
to straighten them out
Speaking of Winnie, is that bear still
doing his business behind your car?
That sort of behaviour is so

I went for a walk last night and got

glorious. I didn't even take an

always cautious when I leave for work

be his breakfast :) I slept for soooo
long and am feeling a wee bit better

Good news, Fran! It looks like the
outline will be finished this morning
sometime. I'll leave it sit for a day
and then start working on it again
Wednesday. I still marvel at how
perfectly you posed!! You gave the
whole concept some much-needed
attitude I'm thinking there's not
much more than 3 weeks work, and
should be finished before Dec. When
it's done I think it'll knock their
sox off! (if they're wearing any)
And then we'll intrigue them in a
gentle way with Autumn Portrait, and
then knock their sox off again with
Salacia!! Hope you got more precious
rest yesterday, and sending you
vibes of comfort, love & affection to

it all came together like magic! I'll
let it sit for a day, and then start
in on the details & colour tomorrow
Which is the day of the full moon
How auspicious is that!? :) I hope
its healing light is touching you now
and chases away that migraine devil,
and protects you from any and all
types of flu. You mentioned getting
small frames for the Saturna prints,
so I thought why not put together a
24x36 inch collage of all the shots
on one panel? Like the ones for
'Frangelica's Light'. I'll put it
together this week and send it out
to you UPS later on. For now sending

Fran, happy full moon in Taurus!!
So I googled 'full moon Nov 2025',
and it said that in general, "Its
energy will bring a portal of luck
capable of changing destinies..."
And for Aquarians (like me) "...
it will serve as a portal into a
new reality". Wow! This on the
same day I'm starting work on that
section of portal at the top of the
drawing. I couldn't dream this
stuff up if I tried!! Anyway, I'm
heading into that portal today,
and your suitcase is packed, and I
guess we'll see where it takes us!
The full moon is at 5:18am. It
wouldn't surprise me if there was a
gap in the clouds just then, and we
got moonbeams flowing thru falling
rain One way or another I
know we'll be touched by it :)
